Our preferred candidate should have experience in a dental office with front desk and insurance experience, but we are willing to train the right individual.
The front desk is responsible for:
- Send/processing of dental insurance claims and pre authorizations
- Contacting insurance companies
- Management of relationships with insurance carriers and patients regarding coverage determinations and outstanding balances
- Research and resolve insurance billing issues
- Manage outstanding insurance claims
- Review treatment plan estimates to ensure copays are accurate
- Entering insurance plans into Dentrix
- Ensures integrity of daily deposits and daily reports
- Answer any questions about insurance
- Check patients in for doctor and hygienist
- Answer phone calls
- Schedule patients
- Figuring out copays and take payments from patients
Schedule: Monday: 7:00 am- 1 pm, Tuesday 7:00 am- 7 pm, and Wednesday 7:00- 3 pm, Thursday 7:00am-7pm. End hours are approximate due to patient flow.
Pay based on experience.
