Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service in a professional environment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and requires strong communication skills, preferable bilingual, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.

Portuguese and spanish speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients and visitors as they arrive at the office.
Manage incoming calls using phone systems, ensuring polite and effective phone etiquette.
Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar using dentrix Ascend software.
Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow within the office.

Experience

Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
Familiarity with dentrix ascend software is a plus.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance communication with our diverse patient base.
Experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
