Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Reviewing medical history, screening for oral diseases (like oral cancer, gum disease), and assessing oral health status.
- Preventive Care:
- Removing plaque, tartar (calculus), and stains from teeth (scaling and polishing).
- Applying fluoride treatments and dental sealants to protect teeth.
- Taking, developing, and interpreting dental X-rays.
- Patient Education: Teaching proper brushing, flossing techniques, recommending products, and advising on diet and lifestyle for oral health.
- Treatment & Planning: Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with dentists, documenting patient care.
- Advanced Procedures (State Dependent): Administering local anesthesia, if certified.
- Collaboration: Working closely with dentists, assistants, and other staff in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
