We are seeking an outgoing and professional Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. You will be the primary liaison between our clinical team and our patients, helping them navigate their dental journey from initial diagnosis to successful completion of care. This unique "early-bird" schedule (6:40 AM start) allows our team to maximize morning production and provides you with a long weekend every week! This a Monday-Thursday position.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Presentation: Clearly explain diagnosed treatment plans, procedure steps, and oral health benefits in patient-friendly language.
- Financial Counseling: Discuss treatment costs, verify insurance benefits, and arrange personalized payment plans or third-party financing.
- Schedule Optimization: Manage and optimize the Doctors schedule to ensure consistent patient flow and meet daily production goals.
- Patient Advocacy: Address patient concerns and objections with empathy, serving as their primary point of contact for all non-clinical inquiries.
- Administrative Follow-Up: Track outstanding treatment plans and maintain a proactive system to ensure patients complete their care.
Qualifications
- Experience: Sales experience or Dental Office Experience.
- Those without this experience: Please apply knowing the pay will not be the same initially. We are open to learning and growing into the position for the right hard working person with personality and commitment.
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures (e.g., restorative, implants, or endodontics).
- Software Skills: Do not apply unless you can effectively type above 40wpm with Proficiency in spelling and grammar. We use a dental practice management software called Dentrix.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on "closing" cases and building patient trust.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: Competitive and based on experience. Hourly is $21-$24 per hour unless highly skilled with years of proof working in Dentistry.
- Performance Bonuses: Opportunities for monthly production-based bonuses. Once trained and competency is verified answering the phones and time with patients after 90 days. Additional bonus is offered after 6 months of full time dediciaton.
