```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
```Skills```
- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Knowledge of dental systems and terminology
- Ability to perform patient assessment and take vital signs
- Experience in dental assisting, including chairside assisting and instrument sterilization
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Knowledge of computer-assisted design (CAD) software for dental restorations is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation requirements
