Office in Wintersville Ohio looking for a hygienist to work at least Fridays 9am -1pm. One Friday a month will be 9am-2pm. Position has potential to become full time. Pay to be discussed further upon interview.
```Duties```
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including teeth cleaning, scaling and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records, create treatment plans and update medical histories via computer
-Clean room/ office communal areas daily
- Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures
```Qualifications```
- Valid dental hygiene license in Ohio
- Associate's degree or higher in dental hygiene
- CPR/BLS certified
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental or Dentirx
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental anatomy
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
-Presents with a professional appearance and an understanding attitude towards patients
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
