Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. We are looking for full time or part time. Hours of operation Tuesday - Friday from 8am-4:30pm. The ideal candidate will be a team player and responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance and SRP on patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize Softdent software for scheduling, patient management, and record keeping.
- Ensure the dental office maintains a clean and sterile environment following aseptic techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest dental practices, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
