We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting oral health and providing quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental hygiene assessments, including oral health screenings, assessment of oral conditions, and review of the patient's health history.
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments.
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and intraoral photos as needed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care practices.
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid state dental hygiene license.
- Associate's degree in dental hygiene (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in using dental software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on advancements in dental hygiene.
