Job Summary
Established, privately owned dental practice with consistent patient flow seeking a skilled and patient focused dentist to join our team. Our office has built a strong reputation over multiple generations , with a loyal, multi-generational patient base. We are a PPO and fee for service practice that emphasizes in comprehensive, relationship driven care.

Position Details

Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions with precision and care
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans
Utilize advanced dental technology such as digital radiography and medical imaging to diagnose and plan treatments effectively
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment
Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to facilitate four-handed dentistry for efficient patient flow
Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records systems such as Eaglesoft
Provide education on oral health maintenance and preventive care strategies tailored to each patient’s needs

Skills

Proficiency in using dental software systems like Eaglesoft for documentation and treatment planning
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to oral health care
Experience in oral surgery procedures is highly desirable
Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (anterior teeth), prosthodontics, and other restorative procedures
Excellent patient communication skills with a focus on delivering compassionate care in general dentistry settings
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure patient privacy and compliance
Ability to implement infection control practices effectively while maintaining aseptic technique during procedures
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used for diagnosis and treatment planning in dentistry
Understanding of dental fabrication processes for crowns or bridges when necessary
Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or office environment that emphasizes high-quality patient care
