Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and medical imaging techniques
- Deliver a wide range of dental treatments including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic procedures with precision and care
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless four-handed dentistry for efficient patient flow and comfort
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric and adult patients
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and clinical hygiene
- Utilize dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes
Requirements
- Valid dental license to practice near Chico with current state registration
- Proven experience in general dentistry and familiarity with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics
- Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and infection control standards
- Experience with dental office software including Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with confidence
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and communication
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards necessary for maintaining confidentiality and compliance
- Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment is highly desirable
