Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques.
- Provide a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, restorations, prosthodontics, root canal therapy, dental extractions, and endodontics.
- Conduct oral surgery procedures with precision while maintaining strict aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their needs and educate them on oral health maintenance.
- Ensure accurate medical documentation by recording detailed notes on procedures performed and patient responses.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control standards and safety guidelines.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, dental fabrication techniques, and medical terminology to enhance patient care quality.
- Assist in training or mentoring new team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize efficiency and patient comfort.
Qualifications
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic or office setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment options clearly.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus for effectively serving younger patients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
