Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist, we specialize in genreal dentistry and have a therd generation Dentist starting with us in August. He will be invovled with dental iimpants. we currently do one day crown and bridge. The New Dentist Has a masters in Dental Hygien as well. Sow we are in the business of saving teeth.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment planning.
- Assist with chairside procedures such as applying fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive care measures.
- Use dental imaging technology to capture radiographs accurately while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and overall dental health maintenance.
- Document all patient interactions, procedures, and assessments clearly in electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
- Support general dentistry procedures by collaborating with dentists during treatments and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice legally.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform chairside assisting duties efficiently during various procedures in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively about medical terminology and treatment plans.

Pay: $41.62 - $50.12 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
