Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Job Summary
Summit Dental Group is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing private practice. The ideal candidate must hold an active RDH license and be committed to patient-first dentistry, professionalism, and clinical excellence. This role is three to four days per week with a consistent weekday schedule.
Qualifications – Registered Dental Hygienist
Required:
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred:
- Experience in a private dental practice
- Familiarity with digital radiographs and modern dental technology
- Desire for professional and personal growth
Responsibilities – Registered Dental Hygienist
- Provide high-quality dental hygiene care while ensuring patient comfort
- Conduct initial oral health screenings and review medical/dental histories
- Identify conditions such as caries and periodontal disease
- Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene and preventative care
- Take digital radiographs and dental impressions as needed
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Assist dentists in developing appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and charts
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness
- Monitor and manage clinical supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
