We are looking for a motivated and experienced dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of oral health and be able to provide excellent patient care. Duties will include cleaning teeth, taking x-rays, and educating patients on oral hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive and therapeutic dental care to patients of all ages
- Clean teeth, remove plaque, and tartar
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Apply fluoride and sealants
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist dentists with procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room
- Follow all infection control procedures
- Document patient care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle patient care emergencies
