We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organised with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
2+ years of experience as Registered Dental Assistant and have full certifications like Prophy, Sealant, Nitrous, RDA, and CPR.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare customers for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort.
- Select and set up the necessary instruments, equipment, and materials.
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed.
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
- Schedule appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.
2- 3+ years of experience as Registered Dental Assistant and have full certifications like Prophy, Sealant, Nitrous, RDA, and CPR.
Skills Required:
- Must have more than 1 year of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
- Must have RDA Certification.
- Must have CPR Certification.
- Must have Prophy Certification.
- Must have Sealant Certification.
- Must have Nitrous Certification.
- 1 year of Dental Clinic Experience is required.
- Open Dental Experience is preferred.
- Bilingual is a big plus.
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilisation methods.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
