Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time Orthodontic Assistant / Front Office Team Member who is eager to learn, adaptable, and passionate about patient care. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, professional, and excited to contribute to a positive office culture.
Because we are a growing startup practice, team members should be comfortable wearing multiple hats and helping in different areas of the office as needed. Responsibilities may include both clinical assisting and front office coordination depending on the day and practice needs.

Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures and patient appointments
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection-control standards
- Take digital X-rays, photographs, and 3D scans as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, aligner care, braces care, and appliance instructions
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient communication
- Answer phones and help create an outstanding patient experience from start to finish
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks
- Help contribute to a positive, team-oriented office culture
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- Orthodontic experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- X-ray certification preferred (or willingness to obtain if required)
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $18–20/hour depending on experience
