Dental Hygienist – Periodontal & Implant Specialty Practice

Are you passionate about making a real difference in patients’ lives? Join our thriving Periodontal and Dental Implant Specialty Practice in the heart of Coastal North Orange County! As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a motivated, skilled, and compassionate Dental Hygienist to help shape the future of our practice.

Currently we need 1 day/week, either Monday or Thursday, but there's opportunity to add days and continue to grow with our practice.

Your Role: Making Smiles Healthier

As a key member of our team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of periodontal and preventive care. Your day-to-day will be filled with meaningful interactions, professional challenges, and the satisfaction of seeing your patients thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Advanced Hygiene Care: Deliver thorough periodontal maintenance, including scaling and root planing for patients with gum disease.
Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with our periodontist and dental team to provide seamless, high-quality patient care.
Patient Assessment & Education: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, review medical histories, and educate patients on optimal oral hygiene tailored to their needs.
Maintain Excellence: Uphold strict infection control standards and ensure a safe, sterile environment.
Accurate Documentation: Keep meticulous patient records in full compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Who We’re Looking For

Licensed Dental Hygienist (valid state license required)
Infection Control Pro: Strong knowledge of best practices and procedures
Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Detail-Oriented: Commitment to excellence in every aspect of patient care
Tech-Savvy: Experience with Dentrix software is a plus!
Anatomy Enthusiast: Solid understanding of dental anatomy and physiology
