Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleanings, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.
- Assess oral health, checking for gum disease and abnormalities.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and home care techniques.
- Take dental x-rays and assist with exams and treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Follow sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Work closely with dentists and team members to deliver coordinated care.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Valid state dental hygiene license and CPR certification
- New graduates welcome
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices and tools
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Detail-oriented with strong recordkeeping abilities
- Team player with a commitment to high standards of care and safety
Pay is competitive and experience based.
