Seeking bright dental assistant. Busy multi-doctor practice looking for full and/or part-time dental assistant to provide joyful, superior service to our valued patients. Must be a registered dental assistant with excellent interpersonal communication skills and be proficient in making temporaries. Compensation to be discussed based on experience. Must demonstrate active listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Must demonstrate good reading comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective chairside assisting techniques.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Utilize dental terminology to accurately document patient information and treatment plans in EMR systems.
Take and develop X-rays, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide excellent patient care, demonstrating strong communication skills and knowledge in general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
