We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
- Assess patient oral health by taking vital signs and documenting medical histories.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with dental office protocols.
- Assist in four-handed dentistry, supporting the dentist during procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
- Experience working in a dental office or clinic is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
