Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Smyl Manatee in Bradenton, FL. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering excellent patient care by performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting in the overall management of the dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment provided.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Manage dental imaging procedures as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Florida.
- Experience in a dental office setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical record management.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Current Work Schedule
- Our current working schedule is for 3 days. Monday, Thursday and Friday. (Working hours 07:30 AM – 05:00 PM)
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
