The Opportunity
Are you a seasoned orthodontic or dental professional with a deep understanding of insurance, treatment planning, and patient care? If so, this role could be a perfect fit.
As a Treatment and Network Details Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in helping new practices get up and running with OrthoFi’s platform. You’ll work closely with our training and implementation teams during the onboarding phase to customize each practice’s system setup—translating treatment offerings, fee schedules, and insurance participation into our platform’s configuration. Your experience will help ensure a smooth transition and long-term success for the practices we serve.
You’ll also act as an internal expert post-implementation, maintaining and updating key information, supporting users with best practices, and ensuring our clients get the most out of OrthoFi’s tools—especially when it comes to insurance.
What You Will Do
-
Conduct virtual, face-to-face meetings with orthodontic practices and/or organizational leadership during the pre-implementation phase and throughout the ongoing client relationship.
-
Provide hands-on training and guidance to practice teams on network-specific best practices, ensuring smooth insurance workflows and optimized billing.
-
Perform treatment and network analyses to identify opportunities that maximize treatment fees and improve practice profitability.
-
Gather and document current insurance workflows and fee presentation processes, translating them into OrthoFi’s system language and configuration.
-
Communicate cross-functionally to share practice-specific needs and recommend system workarounds to ensure smooth adoption.
-
Collaborate closely with OrthoSuccess Managers to drive strong client outcomes and support high NPS scores through continued insurance education and workflow optimization.
-
Delegate, track, and review the work of team admins to support scalable, high-quality implementations and ongoing account maintenance.
-
Configure OrthoFi’s system so that practice users can efficiently create treatment plans, fee presentations, service contracts, and submit accurate claims.
-
Interpret a practice’s treatment offerings and corresponding fees to support in-network reimbursement strategies and clean claim submission.
-
Accurately assign current CDT procedure codes based on treatment types and insurance requirements.
-
Identify billing processes and requirements based on the practice’s network participation.
-
Conduct deep-dive investigations into benefits and write-offs to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement processes.
