- Perform general office duties and assist in the operation of the orthodontic practice.
- Handle incoming telephone calls, schedule appointments and respond to patient questions.
- Prepare medical records, treatment plans, and oral hygiene instructions to keep up-to-date patient records.
- Update treatment plans based on orthodontist's instructions.
- Examine patients' teeth to determine proper placement of braces.
- Evaluate patient's teeth before and during treatment to ensure proper braces placement.
- Prepare patients for dental x-rays at doctor's request.
- Monitor patient's progress during treatment, performing follow-ups and examining their gums for gum disease.
- Have knowledge of the American Association of Orthodontists guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
