Job Summary
Private practice dental office in Navarre, FL seeking certified dental assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience. Looking for a candidate proficient in taking impressions, digital x-rays, digital scans, fabrication of temp crowns and bridges, 4- handed dentistry, and presenting treatment plans. Hours would be Mon, Tues, Thurs 7:30 am -4 pm and Friday 7:30 am - 12 pm. Must have great work ethic and communication skills. Pay will be based on skill level and discussed after working interview completed.
Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, extractions and occasional root canals.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained.
- Manage electronic medical records in Dentrix efficiently.
- Perform vital signs measurement and dental imaging to support comprehensive patient assessments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and presentation of treatment plans.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by state law.
- Proven experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting, preferably general dentistry.
- Dentrix experience preferred .
- Knowledge of infection control procedures, aseptic technique, and OSHA standards for dental clinics.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
