**OA/RDA compensation is based on certifications and years of experience in dental field, ability to perform Orthodontic Assisting tasks.
Orthodontic Assistant Responsibilities:
Listed below is an overview of the skills an Orthodontic Assistant would be required to
- Records: Must be able to take Panoramic/Cephalometric X-rays, Intra and Extra Oral Photos , Itero Scans.
- Clinical/Chairside Assisting:
- Prepared, Engaged, Anticipating: Fitting Bands, Deliver/Deband Palatal Expanders, Bracket Positioning, Bond and Debond Brackets, Placement of Invisalign attachments
- Patient Experience: Welcoming, engaged, informative chairside manner. Communication is informative, easily comprehendible, and can instruct patients in a calming approach.
- Documentation/Charting: Attention to detail charting of notes, follow correct charting formats, clear and concisely charting next visit plan.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
