We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilized.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Familiarity in using dental software systems such as Dentrix.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation, and medical coding.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
