Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires an understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry and prosthodontics.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Manage patient records and medical history in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental clinic’s calendar efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure all medical records are accurate and up-to-date in the Practice Management systems.
- Maintenance of equipment.
- Infection control and OSHA guidelines compliance.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred and required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and HIPAA compliance is required.
- Experience with dental software systems, particularly , EagleSoft, is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Right attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: $14.00 - $23.00 per hour
