Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where you will help deliver exceptional patient care and ensure the smooth operation of our dental practice. You will manage appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication while assisting with dental procedures and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly, manage check-in and check-out processes, and handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and process claims using systems like Epic, Meditech, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Athenahealth
Schedule appointments efficiently while coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily patient flow
Assist dental practitioners during procedures by preparing instruments, taking digital radiographs, and maintaining sterilization protocols
Manage patient records electronically using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as OpenDental ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation review
Handle billing tasks, including medical collection processes to ensure timely payments
Maintain organized medical records, file documents systematically, and update care plans and medical histories accurately
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while providing exceptional patient service and addressing inquiries promptly

Experience

This is an entry position. While prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred, it is not required. Training will be provided as needed.
Bilingual abilities (Korean, English) are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations
Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), typing (10 key), and health information management software
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient service excellence in a healthcare setting
Previous experience working with multi-line phone systems, filing systems, and front desk operations in a medical or dental environment
