Dental Assistant –

Job Type:
Part-time with the opportunity to add hours in the future: Tuesday-Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM (daily break for lunch)
On call (for emergency care only) one weekend a month
Office is closed Friday-Sunday
$20-$26/hour
This Position Requires:
- 1 year experience preferred
- CDA or RDA license
- Certification to perform CPR and AED for healthcare professionals
- Comfortable with lab work
- Great verbal and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow-through on tasks
- Ability to support a team in a stable and mature manner
- Versatility, an eagerness to learn and be open to feedback
- Computer skills (we use XL Dent and Dexis for radiographs)
- Cerec/scanner and/or milling experience or willingness to learn
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Setup and breakdown operatories after treatment has been completed
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Proper infection control – preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Assisting in sterilization
- Perform various office tasks including cross training at the front desk
- Explaining treatment plans for patients
- Utilize a Cerec scanner
- Take impressions, pour up and trim models
- Fabricate retainers, mouthguards, bleach trays, etc

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
