Lead a High-Performing Oral Surgery Practice
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and organized Oral Surgery Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our growing specialty dental practice. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care, team development, operational excellence, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
As the Office Manager, you will oversee all aspects of practice operations, support our clinical team, and ensure our office runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the oral surgery practice.
- Lead, mentor, and support front office and clinical team members.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate staff performance.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
- Manage scheduling to maximize provider productivity and patient satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), production goals, collections, and office performance.
- Ensure exceptional patient service from initial contact through treatment completion.
- Resolve patient concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Oversee insurance verification, treatment plan presentation, financing, and collections.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and state dental regulations.
- Manage office inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and office operations.
- Develop and implement systems that improve efficiency and workflow.
- Collaborate with doctors and leadership to achieve practice growth and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Office Manager required.
- Oral surgery or specialty dental experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with dental practice management software.
- Knowledge of dental insurance, treatment coordination, scheduling, and patient financing.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze reports and monitor practice performance metrics.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multi-provider dental or specialty practices.
- Knowledge of oral surgery procedures and workflows.
- Familiarity with marketing and patient growth initiatives.
