Duties
- Provide comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for diverse patient needs.
- Perform general dentistry procedures including dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize digital imaging and advanced dental technology such as digital X-rays and 3D printing systems for precise diagnostics and restorations.
- Conduct pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and anesthesia procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate medical records, adhere to HIPAA regulations, and ensure compliance with state healthcare laws.
- Collaborate with team members on treatment strategies, patient education, and infection control protocols using aseptic techniques.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; valid state license to practice dentistry.
- Experience in general dentistry with knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and infection control practices.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare requirements to ensure compliance at all times.
