Glenrock Family Dental is seeking to add to our team either one full time or 1-2 part time dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienists to join our dynamic dental office. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care, focusing on patient education and preventive oral health practices. This position requires a passion for patient care and the ability to work effectively within a clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
- Assist in dentistry procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding for patients.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology related to dental health.
- Proficiency in using dental clinic systems and software, particularly Dentrix.
- Experience or training in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform aseptic techniques effectively within a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
We are hiring one full time or 1-2 part time Dental Hygienists to cover Monday through Thursday from 8:30-4:30. Glenrock Family Dental is located at 925 W.
