We're a small, collaborative team seeking a long-term team member passionate about patient-centered dentistry.
Job Summary
We are hiring a reliable, phone-savvy Scheduling Coordinator to own patient scheduling, keep our schedule full and optimized, and deliver outstanding service. This is a key front-office role requiring confidence with outbound calls, strong organization, and a track record of stable employment. Ideal for someone excited to grow with our innovative practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and fill the daily/weekly patient schedule for maximum efficiency and provider productivity.
- Make outbound calls to patients for confirmations, follow-ups, recalls, and treatment coordination.
- Maintain accurate patient records and appointment data in Dentrix software (training provided if needed).
- Verify insurance eligibility as needed, explain benefits, and handle basic billing inquiries promptly.
- Provide friendly, clear communication via phone, email, and in-person to build patient trust.
- Perform general administrative support (filing, supplies, compliance tasks).
- Ensure full HIPAA compliance and contribute to smooth office workflow.
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves – Applicants without these will not be considered)
- 1+ years of experience in dental front office, scheduling, or reception (dental preferred; medical/hospitality with heavy phone scheduling considered).
- Proven comfort and success with high-volume outbound and inbound phone calls (must enjoy phone work).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency to keep schedules full.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to learn Dentrix software quickly (prior experience a plus).
- Hospitality or Sales experience is a plus
- Clean background and stable work history (long-term roles preferred).
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
- Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance verification processes.
- Experience in a fee-for-service or boutique/private practice setting is ideal.
- Customer service background in hospitality or high-touch environments.
