Patient Care Coordinator / Chiropractic Assistant
Sandpoint Chiropractic Clinic is seeking a friendly, dependable, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Part-Time Patient Care Coordinator / Chiropractic Assistant (approximately 16 hours per week).
We are a locally owned chiropractic practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. Our goal is to make every patient feel valued from the moment they walk through our doors. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, takes pride in their work, and wants to become an important part of our team for years to come.
While previous medical office experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping people.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and create a welcoming office environment.
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule efficiently.
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary patient information.
- Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and return messages professionally.
- Check patients in and out of appointments.
- Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure documentation is complete.
- Assist the doctor with patient flow and basic chiropractic assistant duties.
- Prepare treatment rooms and therapy equipment.
- Perform light office cleaning and help maintain a clean, organized clinic.
- Work closely with the doctor and team to provide an outstanding patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office, chiropractic office, dental office, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer and typing abilities.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working independently while also being a team player.
