Job Summary

We are a growing periodontal practice looking for a confident, organized, and professional treatment coordinator to help continue our upward trajectory! We have an incredible team, so finding the right person that values being a team player is a must! We are a busy office focused on the patient experience, so confidence in communicating treatment plans and financial obligations, a high comfort level with insurance verification, and the ability to juggle the schedule and manage production is a must. Previous experience as dental front office personnel in a periodontal or oral surgery practice is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Present treatment plans to patients in a confident, clear and concise manner.
Serve as a patient advocate, helping patients to understand and move forward with any needed treatment.
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes efficiently and explain to patients how benefits will be utilized.
Help patients understand their financial options to facilitate care.
Communicate with referring offices.
Maintain treatment reports and pending treatment and follow-up lists.
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure all necessary materials, information and documentation is available to facilitate patient care.
Answer phones and schedule new patients.
Visit referring offices to improve coordination of patient treatment

Experience

Confidence is a must!
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and accurate record keeping.
Exceptional customer service skills complemented by professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
