Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive oral care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and provide preventive care to patients.
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
- Utilize Dentrix for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for general dentistry patients.
- Utilize imaging technologies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in Dentrix software systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, patient care protocols, and aseptic techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages regarding their oral health needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
