Experienced Dental Assistant – Elevate Your Craft in Prosthodontics
Pay based on experience $24+, dependent on experience
Are you an experienced dental assistant ready to stop running on the corporate treadmill and elevate your craft? If you're burnt out on chaotic multi-column booking and corporate quotas, step into an elite, patient-centered prosthodontic practice where your skill and care are truly respected.
Here, the hustle is in the craft and focus, not the schedule.
The Rhythm of the Practice: Pace & Schedule
- Single-Column Booking: We book a single column so you can give each patient your full, focused attention. Enjoy longer, comprehensive appointments with very few choppy 45-minute slots and zero chaotic column-juggling. Spend time getting to know patients over a three- to six-month period.
- Guaranteed Daily Lunch: Enjoy a guaranteed, uninterrupted daily lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
- Four-Day Workweek: Full-time hours, Monday through Thursday. No nights, no weekends. Get a long three-day weekend.
- Guaranteed Office Closures: The whole office shuts down so you get true work-life balance, including two full weeks during the year: one full week off in the summer for July 1st, and one full week off for Christmas break! Plus, multiple other holiday closures: 2 days off for Thanksgiving, along with Memorial Day and Labor Day closures.
Learn Something New — Specialty Skills You Can Take Anywhere: Learn advanced prosthodontics—full-arch dental / denture cases, digital workflows, and complex restorative lab procedures—that will make you one of the most capable, sought-after assistants in the region.
(Our current prosthodontic dental assistant is heading off to hygiene school in January, so we’re looking for an assistant to join our team for a smooth onboarding transition! We want to hire now so we can provide excellent training to you before our assistant leaves.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Chairside Assisting: Provide expert four-handed dentistry support during complex restorative, implant, and cosmetic procedures.
- Prosthetic Fabrication: Fabricate high-quality aesthetic custom temporary crowns, implant-supported bridges, and high quality dentures. Work on interesting cases that have a unique set of challenges only a specialist can meet.
- Lab Coordination: Manage high-accuracy digital scans, master impressions, and communication workflows with our partner labs.
- A Clean, Drama-Free Culture: As a family practice, our superpower isn't corporate venture-backed cash flow; it’s stability, respect, and a human workplace. For mature, experienced assistants, a calm, supportive environment and a quality-driven schedule beat a high-stress corporate clinic offering an extra dollar an hour every single time
Compensation & Benefits:
- Specialty-Tier Compensation: Because this role focuses entirely on advanced prosthodontics, full-arch cases, and complex lab work rather than general dentistry procedures, compensation is structured at a higher specialty tier and is fully dependent on your advanced clinical experience and credentials.
- Pay range is highly competitive and dependent on your experience and credentials. While previous dental assisting experience (in general dentistry or, even better, a specialty) is a fantastic plus, we are ultimately looking for the right person with a sharp eye for detail, a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to growing a career with us.
