Partners Dental Solutions is a leading orthodontic laboratory dedicated to creating high-quality custom appliances that help transform smiles. We're looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on individual to join our growing team as a Lab Technician – Laser Welder.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, using specialized equipment, and creating precise, high-quality work. Dental or orthodontic experience is not required. Candidates with backgrounds in jewelry, precision manufacturing, medical device assembly, electronics assembly, welding, or other hands-on craftsmanship may have highly transferable skills for this position.
You'll learn specialized techniques for laser welding small, intricate metal components used in custom orthodontic appliances. Much of the work is performed under a microscope and requires a high level of precision, focus, and attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys focused and repetitive work, and wants to develop a specialized skill set within the orthodontic industry.
What You'll Do:
- Operate laser welding equipment to weld small, intricate components with precision
- Work for extended periods at a microscope lens to perform detailed welding tasks
- Ensure all welding tasks meet the high quality standards set by Partners Dental Solutions
- Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of laser welding equipment
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Document work processes and results accurately
- Assist in other departments as assigned by leadership
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in a hands-on, precision-focused environment preferred
- Relevant experience may include wire forming, jewelry, dental/orthodontic labs, medical device manufacturing, precision assembly, electronics assembly, or similar skilled trades
- Strong hand dexterity, grip strength, and ability to manipulate firm wire and small components using hand tools
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work
- Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks that require focus, patience, and accuracy
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and reproduce specific techniques consistently
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and techniques

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
