Dental Practice Manager / Office Manager
Full-time | $60,000–$70,000/year + Performance Bonus | Salaried | In-person | Multi-Doctor Dental Practice
Are you an experienced dental office manager who leads from the front—literally? We're seeking a Dental Practice Manager who thrives as both a leader and a contributor. This is a true player-coach role for someone who enjoys building systems, leading teams, improving performance metrics, and still stepping in at the front desk when needed.
You'll serve as the right hand to the practice owner, helping drive both day-to-day operations and long-term growth. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable coaching team members, presenting treatment plans, solving operational challenges, analyzing performance metrics, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
If you're looking for a position where your leadership, business acumen, and initiative can make a meaningful impact, we'd love to meet you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Oversee all front office operations, including scheduling efficiency, patient flow, and administrative processes
- Manage billing, insurance claims, collections, and accounts receivable
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including schedule utilization, collections, accounts receivable, treatment acceptance, patient retention, reactivation, and new patient conversion
- Help patients understand treatment recommendations, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements while supporting strong treatment acceptance and patient satisfaction
- Hire, onboard, coach, and develop front office team members
- Participate in performance reviews, corrective action, and termination decisions in partnership with the practice owner
- Lead regular team meetings and front office huddles
- Utilize OpenDental and Practice by Numbers reporting tools to track performance, identify opportunities, and support data-driven decision making
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable dental regulatory requirements

- Experience with OpenDental practice management software strongly preferred
- Experience with Practice by Numbers or similar dental analytics platforms preferred
- Comfortable operating at both an operational and strategic level alongside practice leadership
- A genuine love for patient interaction—you see front desk time as an asset, not a distraction
- Strong leadership presence with a collaborative, team-first attitude
- Excellent communication skills with patients, team members, and practice leadership
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning outcomes
