Summary
As a Dental Assistant, you will support the clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care within a general dentistry setting. Reporting to the dental professionals, you will perform chairside assisting, instrument processing, and maintain accurate patient records while upholding clinical confidentiality. Proficiency with dental terminology, equipment, and basic imaging will be leveraged alongside EMR systems and HIPAA-compliant practices. Your focus on patient comfort, efficient workflow, and meticulous attention to safety will contribute to a positive patient experience and smooth practice operations. Certified Dental Assistant credentials are valued to join our collaborative team.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant with chairside assisting experience
- Proficient in dental instrument processing, dental terminology, and clinical confidentiality policies
- Familiar with EMR systems (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix), X-ray imaging, and pediatric dentistry basics
- Strong patient management, medical/dental terminology, and medical records documentation
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, and general dentistry workflows
- Ability to maintain dental equipment, operate 3D scanners, and support clinical procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
