Saint Johnsbury Dental Associates is seeking a skilled, motivated, and patient-focused Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing dental team. We are a busy, progressive dental practice committed to exceptional patient care and a supportive, collaborative workplace.

What You’ll Do
- Perform expanded dental assisting functions within Vermont law, applicable credentials, and dentist supervision requirements.
- Assist dentists with restorative procedures and a variety of general dentistry treatments.
- Provide compassionate patient care and promote comfort, safety, and a positive experience.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to support efficient workflows.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff.
- Anticipate clinical needs, take initiative, and support a productive schedule.
- Educate patients about procedures, oral health, and post-treatment care.
What We’re Looking For
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant training and qualifications appropriate for duties performed in Vermont.
- Experience in general or restorative dentistry preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and clinical judgment.
- Excellent communication and patient service skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team.

Compensation & Schedule
Compensation: Competitive($30-$38 an hour), based on experience, qualifications, and clinical capabilities.Schedule: To be discussed during the interview process.
