Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories within the practice management system, preferably Eaglesoft.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques.
Collaborate with dentists and other dental staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and maintain knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Provide support in administrative tasks as needed within the dental office or clinic.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using dental office systems, including experience with Dentrix preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
