The Carlson Family Dentistry & Implants team is looking for a dental hygienist to join our growing practice. Our office is a well established practice that has been serving the Littleton community since 1982. We are a family owned practice. Carlson Family Dentistry & Implants is looking for a full-time or part-time dental hygienist working 2-4 days a week. In 2023, the office moved into a brand new state-of-the-art facility with all new chairs and equipment. Responsibilities

Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Assist doctors in identifying conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Take X-rays or dental impressions
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Monitor supplies

Skills

Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment/instruments
Outstanding communication skills
A patient, friendly and FUN personality
Attention to detail
Valid CO license to practice

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
