Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene. You will work closely with our dental team to promote oral health, educate patients, and assist in various dental procedures. A strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and general dentistry practices is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as necessary.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient care accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Review and maintain documentation for compliance with dental standards and protocols.
Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety.

Skills

Proficiency in using Eaglesoft software for patient management and documentation.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry.
Familiarity with dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Ability to perform detailed patient assessments to identify oral health issues.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a clinical setting.
Understanding of systems related to dental hygiene practices.
