Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to providing high-quality dental hygiene services. This role involves working closely with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding of dental procedures while performing essential tasks that contribute to their oral health.

Pay Range:

We can give a flat rate $77/hr and you will have your own room and dedicated 1hour appointments.

After 1year of working with the practice you will be eligible for 1 week PTO benefit, other benefits to follow.

In the future we can discuss assisted hygiene with production incentives that will take you to $100/hr. We can discuss this in person.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate instruments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system (Denticon).
Assist in four-handed dentistry during procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including pediatric dentistry when necessary.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submitting for medical coding.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices, with an emphasis on pediatric dentistry preferred.
Proficiency in documentation review and familiarity with medical coding processes.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for all patients.
Ability to perform vital signs assessments effectively.
Experience with Denticon or similar dental software is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $77.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
