Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and infection control protocols. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive oral health services.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Utilize medical imaging technology to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient care during appointments.
Stay updated on current dental practices, technologies, and regulations, including HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and hygiene practices.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with familiarity in four-handed dentistry techniques being a plus.
Proficient in infection control measures and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate patient records and managing appointments.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Pay: $31.93 - $33.23 per hour
