Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene
Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in state of Tennessee (Required)
Current CPR certification
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care
Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practice
Must be reliable
Must be a team player

Responsibilities

Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning
Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions
Customize care to meet patient's oral health
Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques
Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed
Maintain patient confidentiality
Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards
Job Types: Part-time ideally but Full time may be considered for the right candidate.
8 hour shift

We are a new private practice looking to add a Dental Hygienist to our team! We break from the new norm of all-day 45 minute prophy appointments and the rat race of constant 1 hour assisted hygiene that is burning out the industry's best hygienists. We are looking to add on a part time hygienist- consideration for full time will be given to the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour
