Dr. Duman is looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices here at Oyster Point Dental. Part Time/Full time opportunity is available. We offer competitive pay, 401k and opportunity for monthly bonuses. Please send us your resume for consideration.

Monday-Thursday: 7 AM to 4 PM (Lunch 12-1)

Skills

Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role (preferred but new graduates encouraged to apply)
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient (Dentrix)
Diploma in Dental Hygiene (or in process of obtaining one)
Valid license to practice

Responsibilities

Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Perform prophy with ultrasonic and hand instruments
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Take X-rays
Monitor supplies

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
