Job Overview
We are looking to add a patient centric, self-motivated, expeditious dental assitant to our team. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience, with references, in a general dental office. Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
Take and record vital signs, ensuring accurate medical documentation.
Manage infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Update and maintain patient medical records, including medical coding as necessary.
Perform basic dental imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality results.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and streamline office operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control measures, and anatomy relevant to dentistry.
Familiarity with medical records management and medical documentation systems.
Ability to perform basic medical coding for accurate record keeping.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
