East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a Dental Receptionist for our thriving practice at 19 Broadway in Newport, RI that serves both adults and children. Become part of our dental team and provide excellent and comprehensive care with a focus on quality, service, and patient satisfaction.

As a Dental Receptionist, provide all reception and clerical duties to support the operation of the Dental clinic and/or mobile sites. Assist in the smooth and efficient running of the practice, to adhere to protocols at all times in line with the company goals and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Interact with patients in a professional manner including check-in procedures
Obtain and update demographic and dental insurance information for all patients
Assist clients to complete registration information
Explain and obtain signatures for HIPAA Policy and Notice of Privacy Practice
Explain office procedures and policies when appropriate
Inform patients of financial responsibilities and provide standard payment options
Collect co-payment and deductible payments

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED required.
Previous dental office or healthcare reception experience
Familiarity with dental insurance processes and terminology preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
